FECHORÍA’s aesthetic resides within the walls of an old, abandoned Mexican manor. Rooted in magical realism, our vision is shaped by the artistry of Latin American painters, writers, poets, and thinkers—woven into the way we create.
FECHORIA is born out of the belief that the way you choose to present yourself to the world does not define how professional or how good you are at your job. Social and aesthetic rules are meant to be bent and adapt to the individual.
Coming from the understanding that what in the industry is considered as “formal” is a set of rules that leaves no room for creativity, we recognize that today there is representation of countless other points of view that are just as worthy of showcasing their style, and that formality is an attitude and not an attire. FECHORIA loves to play with the technicalities of social rules and find the loopholes on which an individual can express themselves while still falling into the category of presentable and office worthy.
Satire is the best form of criticism because it calls out the absurd. FECHORIA is also a satire to some of the dogma of tradition in corporate spaces. If there are absurd rules and procedures to follow, why not also sport an absurd style on your day-to-day. But above all, FECHORIA wishes to make you, the individual, feel amazing, in clothes that are beautiful, current and flattering. The better you feel, the better you work.
